Iran Blasts West for nonstop Attempts to Bar Nations' Scientific Progress

"By depriving certain countries like Iran of rising nuclear technology, the West is blocking other nations' path to science and knowledge," President Ahmadinejad said, address Lebanese educational and student at Beirut University on Thursday. "They develop nuclear technology themselves, but they want to deprive us of this technology," he added.

The Iranian chief executive pointed out that knowledge, including nuclear technology, can bring welfare to nations but the West associate nuclear know-how with bombs when it comes to nuclear activities of other countries. Tehran has dismissed West's demands as politically stained and illogical, stressing that sanctions and pressures merely consolidate Iranians' national decide to continue the path.
